Our next offering of The Empowered Being Retreat is at opportune time (December Solstice 2024) to explore the energy of self-nurturing and nurturing others with the commencement of the change from the longest darkest day of the calendar.

Nusaybah developed the “Raise Your Vibration” program during the COVID lockdown days, as an answer to the introspection to quality of the life we yearn for and consciousness that is essential for this balance and refinement through addressing the full cycle of life from breath that gives us life to grief of loss with movement and vibration that resonates the sacred life experience. Exercise can be a healing medicine & body maintenance. We are 80% water, so the words, sounds, vibrations & things we take in affect us. Adam will facilitate group exercise to help you feel invigorated and strong incorporating boxing. Nutritional workshops will impart knowledge to raise your vibration and we will look at the current food quality in Europe, unleashing the power of consuming different coloured foods and their specific benefits, as well as ways to prepare balanced and palatable healthy meals. There will be an educational theory element as well as a practical cooking workshop.
This weekend Retreat will attune your energy to clean your emotional, mental, physical and spiritual well-being. Join us for an interactive and immersive healing experience where you will tap into your own healing powers through connection and reflection gaining insights into various therapeutic modalities. You will learn practical tools that you can implement in your life; either as a regular practice, or specific techniques as skills for when you or loved ones need them. Explore Feminine and Masculine attributes of the Divine as well as cultivating these within ourselves and in the alchemy of our balanced duo programme (female and male facilitators).
This program is focused on specific ancient wisdom of Senaman Tua and wellbeing to help the physical as well as spiritual cleanse for the Solstice, rebirthing into the new year with raising your positive energy vibrations and mindset to manifest greatness. Andalucia is steeped in history, decadence and natural majesty. The House dates to 1870 with Zujaira village with an Arab origin and Federico Garcia Lorca wrote some of his poems in this area. There is a spectacular landscape with panoramic views of mountains. During your stay, you will get to enjoy traditional Indonesian, Mediterranean & north African gourmet cuisine.
Disconnect from routine and connect with the majesty of nature in an idyllic setting. The old water basin has been rehabilitated, so with the pylon you can relax to the noise of the foundation reclining by a mulberry tree that is over 400 years old! The garden at the entrance has a wide variety of plants with blooms in all seasons so we can always enjoy a colourful garden.
Walk through every corner of the courtyard and explore our flora, La Casa Grande de Zujaira has more than 50 different species. Lose yourself in all the corners that this patio hides. The Andalusian Patio at the residence is a wonderful space with several corners where you can relax with awnings to create shaded areas.
Going up the stairs to access the outdoor garden you will find a multipurpose room, where we will host our customised workshops for the retreat program away from the resting areas of the residence. The house has 5 bedrooms, one of them is double, each of them have their own bathroom.
Nusaybah Brazzo is an internationally qualified Personal Trainer and group fitness instructor, of both English and Sicilian parents.
She is passionate about exercise and martial arts, and has previously spent many years practicing boxing, Karate, Kung-Fu, Silat, rugby, archery, horse riding, cross country, scuba diving, hiking, athletics- to name a few! When it comes to training clients, she specialises in strength, endurance and toning; calling upon all her years of experience and knowledge of martial arts.
What drives Nusaybah when working with clients?
Nusaybah deeply cares about passing on her knowledge and skills to people she meet; as she feels that in regards to living a healthy lifestyle, many people lack the sufficient knowledge and practical skills needed for optimal emotional, mental and physical health. Using her natural energetic, bubbly and positive personality- Nusaybah has been able to impart her knowledge and help many people across the world; inspiring them to be fitter, healthier and more spiritually aware. In addition, using her background in dance and performance, voice projection and her passion for world music, she has successfully led many workshops and classes both in the UK, South Africa, Indonesia and Europe, featuring on numerous Podcasts, You Tube Channels, media publications and TV/Radio broadcasts!
Through Nusaybah's extensive travelling and self-development, she has also studied Semanan Tua, which incorporates: stretching, Silat martial arts, breathwork and Malay traditional dance movements. Nusaybah uses this ancient exercise practice to help students to: heal their pain, reduce sickness, increase their mobility and to become more in-tune with their body and breath; whilst simultaneously strengthening their joints and muscles, balance and co-ordination.
As you can see, Nusaybah is an absolute powerhouse when it comes to exercise, martial arts and creative expression! She is eager to share her boundless knowledge and expertise with you on the upcoming retreat in 2024!
Senaman Tua (Yoga Melayu/ Ancient Malay Exercise)
Senaman Tua is Ancient Malay Exercise and the yoga alternative. Senaman Tua originates from the royal households of Malaysia. It increases blood circulation, oxygen flow, strengthen joints, create a sense of calm, detox and stimulates healing. It can help with arthritis and offset the aging process. ST movements can be used for sexual strength, stamina and vitality. It was used during COVID to aid healing with patients so can also be used as a preventative for flu or there is a prescribed routine every four hours when one does have the symptoms. In this form of ancient wisdom, one is linked to an Islamic tradition and philosophy that can be akin to the modern globalised Yoga, Tai Chi or body conditioning exercise depending on demands of the practitioner. Participants become more in tune with their body, movement in relation to space, understanding themselves, how to heal pain, sickness and create a sense of well-being. It is very effective in boosting energy, immunity and positivity.
Adam Lazarus
Adam is a Personal Trainer from North West London, who currently runs his own Mobile Personal Training business called Lazarus Fitness. He has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years and has private clients that he trains across North West London and the surrounding areas. The training that Adam offers varies depending on his clients’ individual goals, but tends to focus on the following: fat loss, muscle building/hypertrophy, boxing and pad-work training, circuit training and HIIT training. Adam creates personalized plans for his clients, taking into consideration their individual goals, needs and abilities to provide varied and challenging workouts that yield exceptional results for his clients.
As nutrition and lifestyle are considered vital elements of a client’s overall health and well-being, Adam also helps his clients in a more holistic way by minimizing their stress, helping clients to increase their exercise activity outside of sessions and also helps them to better understand their food choices as well as ways to utilize nutrition to reach certain fitness and health goals.
Fundamental to personal training, Adam has a passion for nutrition- and always tries to inspire and educate his followers on social media, as well as his private clients that he trains weekly. He is a firm believer in the “80-20 rule”, whereby people should follow a relatively strict: high protein and low sugar nutritious diet 80% of the time, whilst indulging in less healthy, guilt-free foods for the remaining 20% of foods consumed on a weekly basis. He is a massive foodie, and enjoys sharing nutritious meals with his clients online and helps to inspire them to cook more creatively at home themselves!
In addition, Adam has a wealth of experience with regard to taking exercise classes; and he has taken classes ranging from spinning, to boxercise, LBT (legs, bums and tums), abdomen conditioning and circuit training. He runs his own fitness and nutrition-based YouTube Channel (Lazarus Fitness) and loves cooking various cuisines too.
Adam is a down-to-earth, polite, passionate and motivating trainer, who is really looking forward to running his first ever retreat alongside his business partner and friend Nusaybah!
