‼️Join us for our EMERGENCY DEFENCE against Woodside's Burrup Hub!‼️ We are demanding NO NEW GAS in WA.We'll be taking to the streets ✊? in solidarity with five rebels who face court this week for their disruption of the Burrup Hub parliamentary discussion in March 2020.
These rebels glued their hands on inside Parliament while others demonstrated outside. They will plead the Emergency Defence, as the Burrup Hub is a clear threat to climate, biodiversity and our future.
Woodside’s proposed Burrup Hub project will:
❌ Be 4x the size of Adani
❌ Make net zero by 2050 impossible (let alone 2025)
❌ Cause permanent damage to Murujuga rock art
We'll be gathering at Forrest Place and proceeding through the streets to spread our message.
