Who is it for?
The Embodied Anatomy of Connection is a somatic movement education workshop for anyone interested in deepening their relationship to their own body, to others, and to the living systems around them. It is especially well suited for movement practitioners, educators, artists, caregivers, therapists, and anyone curious about embodiment as a pathway to connection, resilience, and choice. Through guided, experiential exploration of the skeletal system, fluid system, heart, nervous system, fascia, and connective tissue, participants are invited to sense how anatomy is not only structural, but relational—shaping how we move, perceive, respond, and connect.
What are the benefits?
Somatic movement education is a practice of self-exploration and relational awareness that prioritizes lived, sensory experience. In this workshop, participants use imagination, gentle movement, breath, and touch to attune to sensation and internal rhythms. Rather than striving for external form or performance, the emphasis is on listening—tracking how experiences arise and flow within the body. Participants often report a felt sense of increased vitality, greater ease, and improved access to their own embodied intelligence. Over time, this work supports the ability to pause, to sense one’s state of readiness, and to respond rather than react—both internally and in relationship with others.
What might you come away with?
By the end of the workshop, participants typically walk away with practical tools for checking in with their own nervous system, greater sensitivity to how connection is mediated through anatomy, and an expanded capacity to meet life’s demands with presence and adaptability. The practices offered can support decision-making, boundary awareness, emotional regulation, and
At its core, The Embodied Anatomy of Connection invites participants to experience the body not as an object to be managed, but as a living, responsive ecosystem. Through embodied inquiry, anatomy becomes a doorway into belonging, agency, and connection—reminding us that how we move, sense, and feel profoundly shapes how we live and relate.
