This is your chance to test your limits, defeat the clock, and leave your mark as a true endurance champion. Whether you’re racing the clock, for the category title, the race win or just to prove you can, this event promises unforgettable thrills.
Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping, heart-racing competition like no other. The Eliminator demands a blend of speed, endurance, strategy, and adaptability, ensuring excitement and unpredictability right to the finish.

>>TEAM & CATEGORY RULES
* Each team consists of two paddlers.
* Teams compete to win their category and the overall race.
* Teams must register in one of three categories: Male, Female or Mixed. Male / Male Female / Female. Female/ Male
>>RACE FORMAT
*The race lasts for 24 laps (12 hours).
* The race begins with Lap 1 at 8:30am
* Each lap is 2.5 km, with teams alternating paddlers every lap.
* One paddler starts on the hour, the other on the half-hour.
* No switching order unless using a wildcard!
>>TIME LIMITS & ELIMINATIONS
* Each paddler must complete their lap within 28 minutes.
* If either paddler fails to meet the time limit, the team is eliminated.
* From Lap 9 onward, the slowest finishing paddler in each category (who is still within the time limit) is eliminated every lap.
* The last remaining team in a category wins that category and continues racing until elimination or the final lap.
>>PLOT TWISTS & STRATEGY
* Wildcards: Each team gets 2 wildcards to swap paddling order at any point in the race. Use them wisely!
* Re-Entry Lottery: After Lap 18, one eliminated team per category is randomly selected to return for the final 6 laps.
>>WINNING THE RACE
* The last remaining team in a category, takes the category win.
* The race continues until Lap 24 or until all but one team is eliminated.
* The overall race winner is the last team standing or the fastest finisher of the final lap.
* If all teams are eliminated before Lap 24, the last surviving team is declared the champion.
>>EVENT RULES
* All competitors must wear a Body PFD (not inflatable / waist) and a leash at all times on the water.
* All competitors must carry water or liquid hydration on each lap.
* Each competitor must carry their mobile phone out on the water.
* No other items are allowed on water, including food, headphones, music.
* Open Draft “If you can catch it, you can have it” Competitors are allowed to draft but may not physically impede the process of another competitor.
* Boards. Competitors may only use one board per racer (2 boards per team) and must use the same board throughout the duration of the race. You cannot switch boards, even with your teammate. Racers may use different paddles or fins, but must use only their one board. So choose your board wisely!
>>REGISTRATION
You will register as a team. One registration for both paddlers. You will need, Team Name, Paddler 1 Details, Paddler 2 Details.
