About the Film
Step into a world where beauty lingers… and spirits never rest.
The Elegant Dead: Trapped with Dolls is a Southern gothic short film told by two ghostly narrators. The story moves between two haunting tales:
- Alice is a house sitter tormented by an ancient ghost and demonic dolls in a New Orleans mansion.
- The Lady in White a spectral figure reliving a dangerous romantic encounter at a Victorian party, filmed inside Phoenix’s historic Rosson House.
Blending atmosphere, suspense, and the supernatural, the film asks: In a world of shadows, who is truly alive—and who is already dead?
