The largest shipwreck in the Great Lakes is the mighty Fitz, which is now resting in two major pieces at the bottom of Lake Superior, just across the Canadian border. The ship was lost during a severe storm in 1975, with all 29 crew members disappearing into the waves. Shipwreck historian Ric Mixter is one of only a few who have visited the wreck. Join us for his online presentation and learn about his 20 years of research. This presentation, hosted by KCC's Lifelong Learning Department, will run from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, in Room 304 of the Lane-Thomas Building on campus at 450 North Ave. in Battle Creek. Admission is $30.
