elysian works with quality, local, seasonal ingredients to make dishes that are clean and flavorful. Chef David Thorne tries his best to utilize produce grown locally, though it may well be grown with non-local water that has been recovered from fracking operations. Meat, fish, and poultry are thoughtfully selected but not always organic, he prefers to cook plants. Many of elysian’s ingredients come through lunatic food systems that are utterly unsustainable.

As an archivist/librarian, DJ T-Kay Sangwand brings an eye and ear for the historic, unique, and transnational to her musical curation. Her world is a celebration of sounds, and struggles of everyday life across linguistic and geographic boundaries gathered through serendipitous findings from around the world. T-Kay has hosted shows such as “The Archive of Feelings” and “The Afternoon Love-In” as part of dublab. Before dublab, T-Kay hosted “Hooray for Everything!” from 2001-2005 on KSPC Radio (Claremont, CA) and “Hip Hop Hooray” from 2009-2015 on KOOP Radio (Austin, TX).
