Local historian Andy Graff will discuss Virginia’s postal history, with local emphasis, and showcase examples from his collection of envelopes and postmarks from Gloucester County. Graff has been combining his love of history and postal collecting since the 1980s and is a former board member of the Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society. He grew up on the Northern Neck and has spent his adult life in Albemarle County where he owns Old Albemarle Surveying LLC. This program made possible through the partnership of the Gloucester County Library, Gloucester 250 Committee, and Gloucester Museum of History.
