About this Event
Dubwise Sunday
Doors 7pm
The Dub Chronicles ft Ammoye and Kairo McLean.
The Dub Chronicles are a trio of brothers heavily inspired by the foundation artists of the 1970’s/80’s, the golden era of reggae. A vintage roots reggae instrumental sound in the stylings of King Tubby, Augustus Pablo, and Lee Scratch Perry; rooted in dub and blended with sparse flourishes of bebop jazz.
The brothers will once again be featuring 2 legendary Toronto artists: Ammoye the soul rebel/light-worker and the mighty Kairo McLean - the historical youngest Juno award winning Canadian artist - in a heavy roots/dubwise style.
