The Drawing Board is an open, collaborative space with a focus on illustrations, comics and zines. Attendees are invited to experiment with new mediums, practice their technique, work on existing projects, or simply chat, socialize and share their work with their peers. Artists are encouraged to bring their own materials, but materials such as paper, pencils, pens, erasers, colored pencils and pencil sharpeners are also provided. Previous meetings have included activities such as comic jams, sticker making, art supply swaps, "exquisite corpse", and much more. The Drawing Board is a social group for illustrators, comics artists, and zine makers that holds monthly meetups at various locations around Pittsburgh.
