The Diversity of the Tropics- Costa RicaThursday, October 2, 7:00-8:30 pm
Community Room, Peter White Public Library
The beauty and the diversity of life in the Tropics is one of the biggest attractions for both biologists and vacationists to Costa Rica. More than 20% of the country is preserved in national parks protecting that natural history. Scot Stewart and his family visited the country in May and he will present a look at the parks, animals, plants and other biological features making this country so special, from monkeys to praying mantes, orchids to waterfalls. Come and take a look at the incredible life of this county.
