Welcome to the 3rd Annual Monologue Slam (TM) is an original concept developed by Long Time Texas Actor/Poet Mike Guinn.

The Monologue Slam is quarterly acting competition where actors battle it out for $150 Cash Prize

$100 1st Place

$50 2nd Place

And Oscar Replica Trophy for Best Actor! Join us at Wellspring on Main for a night of talent, drama, and entertainment as actors deliver powerful monologues in hopes of taking home the ultimate prize.

We are working on sponsors to increase the prize money and add a 3rd place prize.

Don't miss out on this exciting in-person event - it's going to be epic!
This is an safe all ages event so no profanity. (Damn or hell is ok)

If you are interested In bring part of the competition simply chose two monologues to bring and regudter here.
Actors will will have up to 3minutes to deliver ONE monologue, including intro.
Three Judges Score Actors On A Scale of 0.1-10. Based on their Power-Performance-Presence

Judges can be regular people or professionals and are chosen by the organizer.
Actors Please arrive 15minutes prior.
Late arrivals will not be able to participate as it is a random draw to determine the order of each actor.
