The original village of Albury was displaced in the early 19th century (to its current location to the west), leaving only the church next to Albury House. Little now remains standing of the former cottages. However, with the help of modern sensing technologies and traditional excavations, information is gradually being uncovered revealing tantalizing details of the original settlement. Anne Sassin, who is a professional archaeologist and outreach officer of the Surrey Archaeological Society, will bring us up to date with recent discoveries. Cost (including tea and biscuits) £ 7
