In his maniacal idea of a new world order, Adolph Hitler chose to control and implement a total vision of the art that Germans should like.
About this Event

This included taking over all means of communication, and also deciding what was true “good “ art for the people and what was detrimental. To do this, he created two different art shows. The German Art Show ,where he exhibited art he felt beneficial ; and another, “ The Degenerate Art Show”, where he exhibited what he felt was degenerate. The “ Degenerate Art “show attracted twice as many people. Unfortunately, most of the art of the artists was destroyed, many artists were sent to concentrate camps, tortured, and some were killed.
