About this Event
A Narrative Adeptus Titanicus event set on the World of Abbona, in the Antonine System. A loyal world used as a staging post for military forces in the Great Crusade, which now finds itself beset by the forces of the Warmaster. This will be a narrative event with a few twists…
LOCATION: The Bristol Gaming Collective @The Bristol Adventurer's Guild
Parking: There is plenty of on street parking. The front car park is permitted and we only have one so please dont park there! it is also a 5 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads station
RULES FORMAT: We're playing Adeptus Titanicus using all of the most up to date GW books and FAQs, in addition to the usual AT events tweaks in our own rules pack, (see the files).
NUMBER OF GAMES: 3
SIZE OF GAMES: 1500 AND 1750 points, please bring two lists, one of each size. We will be playing narrative games where there may often be mismatched forces in play. Our recommendation, (and that's all it is) is to either bring two completely different lists, which don't share models; or bring a 1500 point list, which you can expand into a 1750 by merely adding units. (The problem with having two similar, but slightly different lists is that it's easier to make mistakes as to what each list has, particularly if you take different wargear options on the same model in each list, for instance.)
This is a friendly event and we strongly encourage people to bring fun and enjoyable lists, Custom Legios are fine, but don't overdo it. Wheaton's Law applies.
Please note, we will do our best to help if your circumstances change and you can't attend, but won't be able to offer any refunds requested after the 9th of October.
What to bring:
- A painted and based army. We aren't asking for show armies, 3 base colours is sufficient if you're a new starter!
- A copy of the rulebook and any legio/household rules you wish to use,
- Terminals and counters for all of your units, (If you really want to use an App, make sure the device will last all day, but we find that terminals do make things easier for your opponent.)
- Any templates you may need.
- Lunch - We provide a tuck shop service on site, which can be paid with either cash or Paypal, but for something more substantial you will either need to bring your own, or look nearby, McDonalds is just across the river, as is KFC and the Café up the road does nice toasties.
