The December Club: Opening Bell

WHAT IS THE DECEMBER CLUB & THE OPENING BELL EVENT?

While others pause, we keep moving. The December Club is for businesses that don't want December & January to be quiet.

This is a space for proactive businesses that stay open for trade, are ready to make decisions and take action when others won't. If you’re serious about keeping your momentum, you belong here.

In a season where it's commonplace to say December & January is a bear market, we're creating a bull market.

Join other business leaders, founders and decision-makers for a productive evening themed around the buzz of Wall Street's NYSE - a time and place where deals, ideas and opportunities collide.

This isn’t just another networking event. It's an opportunity to discover who else wants to be in the black, concentrate your business development efforts and work with businesses that are available to solve your problems.

It’s a declaration that you are open for business - that you are ready to buy, sell, collaborate and grow while the rest of Brisbane is winding down.

Ticket tiers (excl. GST):

Trader ($65): event access + pick 1 Trade from the Market Board (i.e. meet with 1 business whose problem you can solve).

Bull ($120): Trader tier + early access to the list of problems to solve + 1st pick of 2 Trades from the Market Board (i.e. meet with 2 businesses whose problem you can solve). 10 Bull tickets available; limited to 1 per business.

Whale ($195): Bull tier + even earlier access to the list of problems to solve + the opportunity to deliver a 60-second pitch of your services to the entire room. 5 Whale tickets available; limited to 1 per business.

Important note: attending this event doesn't require you to be open for trade on public holidays or the days between them.

Info: Whales receive the Market Board of Trades (meetings with 2 businesses that have problems you can solve) 7 days before the event starts. Bulls have it 3 days before, and Traders 2 hours before.

Info: Whales and Bulls have 10 minutes of exclusive access to the Market Board to pick their 2 Trades (i.e. 2 meetings they want to have based on the problems presented).

Info: Traders pick their 1 Trade (i.e. have a meeting with another business) from the Market Board at the Registration table. You will then have the opportunity to meet other The December Club members in general networking, including Whales & Bulls.

Info: Whales deliver their 60-second pitch to the room and then the Trading Floor opens for meetings based on the Trade picks made at Registration. Please note: you will not only be meeting with business/es to pitch solving their problem; you will also be picked to be pitched to based on the problem you shared in the registration form.
