All are welcome! Bring what you want to share, take what you need. Try to keep them proportionate. 🙂 This event has 2 dates, Jan 25 and May 3, 2025. Volunteers are needed for setup starting about 10:15 and tear down from 2-3. These are great social events so come and meet like minded souls. Gardeners may disagree on all kinds of things but they are the most kind and generous people on the planet. Come be part of the family!Share your Perennial plant divisions, seeds, bulbs, easy to root cuttings, annuals and houseplants with gardeners from all over town.
Please do not bring invasive species, aggressive growers or super common varieties. Some examples would be loosestrife, common orange daylily, yard violets, tiny baby redbuds, & English ivy. Do not bring any store bought items.
Best practice is that all plants should be dug and potted, bulbs are acceptable in bags. Only bulbs, tubers, corms, or rooted cuttings (wrapped in wet paper and bagged) should be bare root.
Examples of acceptable items would be herbs, veggies, perennials, berries, shrubs, trees, houseplants and other types of plants. Home baked goods, *your* honey, starters, *your*eggs, *your* early produce such as home grown strawberries or honeyberries, and similar items are welcome. Gardening tools and equipment are fine as well.
Take approximately what you bring, if you bring 15 plants or bags of seeds you can take 15 items. New gardeners are allowed to come and take a maximum 5 items w/o bringing any to trade. We hope new gardeners will bring some next year!
EVERYONE CLEANS UP AND REMOVES LEFTOVERS. We need volunteers to set up and clean up, but there's no substitute for each of us pitching in
