THE DARTS (US), now based in Seattle, Washington, formed in 2016 with the goal of making great all-girl garage-rock noise, see the world, and have a fab slumber party every night. The four women threw on vintage black slips, kicked off their shoes, and set out on the adventure. In the first year, the band put out two self-produced EPs and signed with Dirty Water Records (UK), which then released the first full-length vinyl, Me.Ow (2017). Dirty Water then re-released the first two EPs as a second full-length vinyl, The Darts (2017). The band immediately went on tour with The Living End and Billie Joe Armstrong’s The Longshot, and soon found themselves on big European stages like Sjockfest, Cosmic Trip, and Roots n Roses.

Gestartet 2023 als WOOD, konnte das Trio - Bora (Guitar/Vox), Brini (Bass/Backups) und Tommo (Drum/Backups) schon bei einigen Konzerten zeigen wie ‚auf die Fresse‘ Rawk ‘n‘ Roll geht, stumpf und dreckig!
Renate sagt: „Das nächste Mal etwas leiser!“ - Aber leise gibt’s hier nicht! Die Texte handeln mal von Liebe, Sushi und Vollidioten-Städten.
Uh‘s und Ah‘s im Background, bei denen jeder in der Band mal mitsingt. („Uh‘s und Ah‘s sind wichtig“, sagt Tommo!)
Roh und unverfälscht! Vieles an der Musik von WOOD erinnert an Dead Moon und das soll es auch an mancher Stelle. Volume 100% Gain 100%
Im Sommer 2025 entscheidet sich die Band, dass Kunst auch eine Form von Zerstörung, Neuerschaffung und Weiterentwicklung ist. Das Resultat: MUFF – ein neuer Name mit gleichem Sound, gleicher Lautstärke, Rock 'n' Roll. Vieles an der Musik von MUFF erinnert an Dead Moon und das soll es auch an mancher Stelle.
