About this Event
We'll meet at Auditorium Shores, on the grassy lawn. Once everyone arrives, address the crowd, take a group photo, and then embark on a one-mile stroll through the park, making stops at several locations along the way. This photowalk is open to 300 participants, so be sure to secure your spot and bring your film camera!
For the walk, we'll take the trail to the Lady Bird Lake Boardwalk where there will be great views of the Austin skyline where we can all hangout take photos and continure walking the boardwalk for sunset.
For the return trip, you’ll have options:
- Retrace your steps along the trail, passing by the lively bat-watching crowds under the Congress Bridge.
- Or, cross the bridge over Lady Bird Lake for more incredible city views. From there, you can take Congress Avenue north, turn left onto 2nd Street, and head south on 1st Street to loop back across the river and return to Auditorium Shores.
