DJ Dimitri is Greek DJ that has been living in Montréal for many years and plays in the musical act Chevalier Avant Garde. Aside from bands and DJing, Dimitri helps run not for profit live band and dj events in a church under the name "Nights of Worship". He has DJed nights in Montréal and Toronto like The Dark Eighties, Synth Haus, Cave of Bats and more!

The original Dark Eighties started in Vancouver 11 years ago at a dive bar with chequered floors called The Astoria. We've since done parties around the world in NYC, London, Montréal and Auckland, but Halifax stands out as a super fun city with an especially awesome crowd! Although there are certainly imitators, nothing's like an original THE DARK EIGHTIES dance night!!!
