with Master Frantzis
An immersive meditation retreat using the practices hidden within the Daodejing to bring profound change and growth in your life and entire being: a perfect event for anyone wanting to improve their mental, emotional, or spiritual well-being.
This event is a five-day intensive, with a 3 week Summer Package available. Online registration coming soon, but in-person attendance is always recommended.
Master Bruce Frantzis learned the Daodejing in Chinese for more than a decade, initially as part of his Taoist Priest training and completing it with his master, Liu Hung Chieh, in the traditional way: passed down orally from generation to generation for millennia. The words contained in the Daodejing are only the beginning, as it takes a much deeper and committed understanding as well as accumulated experience in particular meditation practices in order to fully embody and live the ideals and wisdom contained in the text. In this workshop, Master Frantzis will teach how to apply the principles of Daoist Meditation as expressed in the inner teachings of the Daodejing in daily life.
Master Frantzis has never before taught the Daoist meditation practices of the Daodejing as a formal event to this degree of depth, so it is a mystery to all of us what may unfold. This is a truly rare event to be a part of, and an absolute must for anyone dedicated to Daoist practices or philosophy interested in taking a more spiritual path through life: the road less traveled. It is suggested to familiarize yourself with the recent release Daodejing: The Oral Tradition to best prepare yourself for the teachings and transmissions during this event. This workshop will focus on the practical aspects of the Daodejing instead of the text itself.

Lessons will be communicated in the traditional way, by teaching what is determined to be of greatest value to the students in the room. Course content is not conveyed in a rigid, checklist fashion, but rather flows spontaneously with what is emerging in the teaching and from those receiving it. What is listed above is a guideline and may change depending on those in the room. Bruce tailors his teachings to the students who attend in-person, so in-person attendance is always recommended. To make the most of any of this summer’s events and achieve the best personal growth, it is recommended to attend all 3 weeks in-person.
