The Dandelion’s Wish Performance and Memorial for Fatima Sambo Schoenfelder

Doors will open at 4:00pm, everyone is encouraged to bring food or drink to share potluck style before the memorial begins.
The memorial service will begin at 4:30pm where all will be welcome to speak for a few minutes each to share their memories of Fatima and honor her legacy.
The performance of “The Dandelion’s Wish” will begin at 5:00pm. The show is appropriate for all ages and we encourage you to invite anyone, even those not attending the memorial. The story is the puppet adaptation of Fatima's children's book of the same name, featuring puppets, sets, and sound she created.
After the show, enjoy meeting the puppets and mingling!

If you have not been to The Swedish Cottage, the easiest route is to enter Central Park via the 81st and Central Park West entrance. Walk into the park and down the path, ensuring the Diana Ross playground is on your left. Cross the large road inside the park (West Drive) at the cross walk. The cottage is right across the street. Apple and Google maps offer very accurate walking directions.
