Meet your panellists:
✨ David Dall'Alba - Director / Exercise Physiologist, Thriving Lives Co
David’s passion for exercise physiology began in 2014, deepened after recovering from a significant kayaking injury in 2016. This personal journey through pain led him to found FNQ Chronic Pain and Disease in 2017, culminating in the creation of Thriving Lives Co—an interdisciplinary clinic dedicated to supporting those with complex conditions. David, a Cairns local and JCU alum, brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to his practice, helping clients lead fulfilling lives. Outside the clinic, he's an avid adventurer, enjoying everything from snowboarding to camping.
✨ Claudia Richardson - Founder / Owner/ Head Teacher, Kynd Studio
Claudia’s love for movement started when she was 7. It wasn’t until she found yoga as a teenager that she started to understand that she wasn’t defined by her body. She fell head over heels with barre and Pilates while at university and how they supported her mental health just as much as her physical health. Then the penny really dropped when she had her baby in 2022 and for the first time, felt like a complete beginner in her body. She slowly rebuilt her physical strength but savoured the shifts in her mood and energetic states which her beloved practices continued to offer as a busy mum, teacher and business owner.
✨ Chris Alcorn - Provisional Psychologist, Wellness Embodied
A lover of the tropical far north, Chris started his Psychology studies at JCU in Cairns in 2018, relocating from Mackay. From early roles as a crisis support worker to his current position at Wellness Embodied Cairns, Chris uses a variety of evidence-based therapies to help clients across all ages thrive in their lives.
