Do you love the sustainability of second-hand clothing but struggle to find items that work for your body at your local thrift store?
Say hello to our curvy girl clothing swap, happening April 27th at Ditch the Clique Studios! Find pre-loved pieces and new-to-you treasures from other NYC fashionistas, leveling up your style and empowering YOU with the confidence to dress however makes you happy!
Clothing swaps are a sustainable way to freshen up your closet at a fraction of the cost. On the heels of Earth Day, our curvy girl clothing swap in partnership with Miss Ralize highlights how easy and fun eco-friendly fashion can be.
Here’s How It Works: Bring as many items as you hope to swap!
- Prepare to swap with a closet clean-out. Bring clean, undamaged, curve-friendly items and accessories.
- Check in to the DTC Studios rooftop where you’ll drop off your items and grab your tiered wristband. We’ll sort your items while you get shopping!
- Shop + connect with other curvy confident swappers!
- Take a break and visit our pretty, pink, curated content studio @ditchthecliquestudios
- Cash-out with your upgraded styles (leave with as many new items as you swapped)
Swapping Tiers:
Make sure you bring as many items as you hope to swap! For example, if you plan to leave with five new items, you should bring five items with you when you arrive.
- Light - $5 to swap up to 5 items
- Medium - $10 to swap up to 10 items
- Expert - $15 to swap up to 20 items
