On 1st November 2024, The Cure's widely acclaimed 'Songs of a Lost World' was released. The night of the album's unveiling, The Cure performed the record in full for the first and only time at London's Troxy in front of 3,000 fans.
'The Cure: The Show of a Lost World' - a recut, remixed and remastered film of that night's full 31-song show, directed by grammy-nominated Nick Wickham, with new surround sound by Robert Smith.
This album is the band's first release of new material in 16 years since the release of '4:13 Dream' in 2008. All the songs on the album were composed solely by singer/guitarist Robert Smith, for the first time since the 1985 album 'The Head on the Door'. It is also their first studio album to feature guitarist Reeves Gabrels.
