The Crystal Teardrop - A distinctive blend of garage rock, psychedelia and power pop, exploded onto the alternative scene in April 2023.
Inspired by a mutual passion for the sights, sounds and creative experimentation of the late 1960s, the band’s music demonstrates an innate affection for classic artists such as The Beatles and The Kinks alongside West Coast favourites including The Great Society, Love and The Byrds. The band have been likened to Paisley Underground favourites The Bangles and The Pandoras due to their female fronted line up and dynamic onstage chemistry.
They released their debut album 'The Crystal Teardrop …Is Forming” on Popclaw (Rise Above Records) in May 2025 that was recently recorded at all-analogue Tilehouse Studios in London with producer Liam Watson.
