The Creek Brothers play an eclectic range of Americana: folk, bluegrass, country tunes, even stretching as far as some blues-jazz and rockabilly, both old and new(er) spanning the classic tradition of American music. They have a no-frills approach, delivering the pure sound from across the pond, from a time when you could still dream of a bigger world out there somewhere. Their repertoire includes a varied selection of self-penned tunes, inspired by artists as diverse in style as Old Crow Medicine Show, Hank Williams, the Stanley Brothers and Woody Guthrie. Ten of these original songs are now available on the Banjo Trash CD and Spotify album “Crossing the Creek”.
