Don’t worry, it’s dead easy. Like, “say hi” with a ‘k’. I usually do that with a little wave. Hiya!
I’m a performance poet, author, playwright and copywriter. My first book, Ten Drinks That Changed the World was published by ACC Art Books in 2018. Barber B: A Play of Sorts, was my first venture into stage production. It saw seven sell-out performances across Leeds between 2022/23, including a showing at the Leeds Playhouse. 2024 will see the publication of my first poetry collection, ‘Under The Sun Our Hearts Are Beating’. Alongside publishing work, I also perform. Notably, at the Curious Arts Festival (inebriated), the Cheltenham Literature Festival (for love and money), and at the Henry Moore Institute (barefoot). You can find my work @sekilynch on Instagram. I’ve been working on a couple of novels for some time. My first novel, Chartreuse, is a meditation on love and romance. You can understand why it’s taking so bloody long, then. I teach writing to help people express themselves and find their unique voice.
