Join Fleet Feet Fort Worth for an official shakeout run to kick off The Cowtown Marathon weekend. The Cowtown is the largest multi-event road race in North Texas, and the 48th annual weekend takes over Fort Worth February 28 and March 1, 2026. Proceeds support The Cowtown C.A.L.F. Program, helping get kids moving and crossing finish lines.
What this is
A short, easy, all-levels run designed to loosen the legs, calm the nerves, and lock in that “I’m ready” feeling.
What to expect
- All paces welcome: run easy, keep it social, and save the effort for race day
- Community kickoff: meet other runners, friends, and first-timers before the weekend begins
- Partner support on site:

Simple schedule
- 6:45 PM: Arrive, check in, quick welcome
