Featuring five Sorcery Contested Realm artists such as Jeff Menges and Drew Tucker, known for their work with Wizard’s of The Coast’s Magic The Gathering, the Spring Sorcery Social will have a major focus on not just the exciting tactical gameplay of Sorcery but on the beautiful hand painted art that makes the game so unique. The event will feature live painting sessions, artist Q&As, original artwork on display in a gallery like setting, live auctions for original works and additional members of the CCG artist community showcasing their talents.
With a capacity for over 300 attendees, the Spring Sorcery Social will feature three days of Sorcery: Contested Realm gameplay geared towards a wide spectrum of players from learn-to-play sessions all the way up to the highest level of competition with the culmination of the Courtesan Cup Tournament series Championship. Up to 48 qualified players in the Courtesan Cup Championship will be joining up to 80 Courtesan Contenders competing not just for the glory of the realm but the top player after two days of fierce competition will be taking home an original work of art by artist Lindsey Lee commissioned by the Sorcery Social Club in addition to other incredible prizes. The Courtesan Cup is shaping up to be the largest Sorcery Contested Realm competitive tournament yet!
The Sorcery Social Club is also inviting members of the Baltimore tabletop game development community to showcase and sell their incredibly creative games during the weekend with the goal of giving the broader gaming community a taste of the immense talent coming out of independent creatives in Baltimore City.
