About this Event
In his 4th year at Exeter, something happened that would go onto change his perspective on life in so many ways - a story of Danβs Dad and his battle with severe depression and psychosis.
Dan is now on a mission to prevent what happened to his Dad from happening to others. A mental health speaker, community co founder of Shoulder to Shoulder (a 1700 strong menβs community in London) and content creator, Dan is returning to his Exeter roots to share the lessons from his Dadβs experience.
Having been featured on BBC radio London, Newsweek and shortly, the Times, Dan will be focusing on what he believes are key causes of the mental health crisis and how these can be resolved at an individual level, leaving you feeling connected, informed and in control.
Dan's talk will last roughly 20 minutes with a 10 minute Q&A afterwards. There will then be an optional discussion space for 30 minutes.
