About this Event

Join the fun! Cheer on the actors and audience members, or volunteer to play a part onstage!

Placer Rep's The Corsican Brothers or the Fatal Duel is an interactive Melodrama adapted by T.S. Forsyth from the script by Dion Boucicault, based upon the novel by Alexandre Dumas (author of The Three Musketeers and The Count of Monte Cristo).

The Corsican Brothers or The Fatal Duel includes

  • Conjoined identical twins, separated at birth but connected through their senses who seek to defend and revenge their family.
  • Comedy, adventure, romance, action (including sword fights) and more.
  • Performed interactively (like the 2024 Placer Rep hit Frankenstein or The Man & The Monster).

Placer Rep turns the Parkview Room into a black box theater with pipe & drape, costumes, sound & music cues, and audience participation placards.

Placer Rep's interactive melodramas are so fun, some people see the show multiple times!

Limited seating, so purchase tickets early for the February 21 & 22 opening run in Rocklin. Then watch for tour dates and locations to follow in Spring 2025.

See you there!
