Jo is a New Zealand based comedian, actor, improviser, film maker, mother, author and psychiatrist. Jo wonders why she is often tired!
Jo has been nominated as Breakthrough Comedian at the 2020 NZ Comedy Guild Awards. ‘The Cool Mum’ won Best Solo Show and Audience Favourite Show at Nelson Fringe Festival 2020. Jo has also won Best Line-up Show, Most Sold-out Shows and Spirit of the Fringe at Christchurch Comedy carnival 2019. She is a multi-champion Roast Battle winner, so hecklers beware. Jo has also kept two babies alive until adulthood. Jo won her battle against cancer in 2021. Her orchid plant is blooming well. She was less successful with her lemon tree.
