Chicago's Sir Michael Rocks linked up with Chuck Inglish back in 2005 during the height of the My Space era. Often credited with ushering in the Blog Era and shaping the sonic style and swagger of a generation, The Cool Kids are still as fresh as ever while still giving fans a taste of the 808-studded production that catapulted them to critical acclaim.
On their latest album, Hi Top Fade, Sir Michael Rocks and Chuck Inglish prove that they are veterans of the game, effortlessly rapping over vintage The Cool Kids production while simultaneously showcasing their growth as MCs and producers. Enlisting the help of friends like A-Trak, Sango, Radamiz, Pink Siifu, Seafood Sam, and more, The Cool Kids deliver a 15-track, no frill project that exemplifies why fans have been rocking with them for decades.
