About this Event
Join us September 4 for The Connecticut Economy conference, where we explore the state’s economic challenges and the opportunities for unlocking Connecticut’s enormous potential.
Stacey Kennedy, Americas Region president and CEO of Philip Morris International’s U.S. business, is this year’s keynote speaker, addressing a range of topics, including the economic impact of the company’s move to Connecticut, its focus on innovation, and the transformation of its business lines.
This year’s conference also features the release of the CBIA Foundation’s strategic economic action plan, a long-term roadmap for boosting the state’s competitiveness, retaining and attracting investment and talent, fostering innovation, expanding career pathway opportunities, and growing a vibrant economy.
Yale New Haven Health’s Paul Mounds will discuss the plan with economic development leaders from other states, sharing best practices for growing a sustainable, competitive economy and driving generational change.
Marcum's Michael Brooder will review the results of CBIA’s annual survey of Connecticut businesses with a panel of business leaders, examining the challenges and opportunities that companies face as they navigate an ever-evolving economic landscape.
And don't miss the opportunity to network with your peers, policymakers, and other key stakeholders.
