The Concordia Band is one of Concordia's oldest and most distinguished performing ensembles. Since its formation in 1899, the band has earned national and international recognition, including in 1935 when it was the first Concordia music ensemble to tour abroad.In addition to frequent home concerts, the band tours nationally each year and internationally every few years. Most recently, the ensemble has traveled to Spain, China, and Norway.
