South Texas College Theatre and Dance presents "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)" by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield.The production will run from November 6 to 8 at 7:30 p.m. and will include a matinee at 2 p.m. on November 9. The Thursday, November 6 evening performance will include an American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation.
Performances will take place at STC’s Cooper Center for the Performing Arts Main Stage Theater at 3200 W. Pecan Blvd. in McAllen.
The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) is a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud comedy where three performers take on all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays—in just 97 minutes. Expect outrageous costumes, wild improvisation, audience interaction and an irreverent crash course in the Bard’s greatest hits.
General admission tickets cost $5. Tickets can be purchased online at www.southtexascollege.edu/go/theatre or at the door, cash only, on the day of each performance.
