Studies suggest that as much as 10% of our thoughts involve social comparisons of some kind. Although comparing ourselves to others can sometimes help us to improve, such thoughts have also been linked to depression, anxiety and even suicide. How can we learn to be our true, authentic selves and be the best we can be?
Sivananda’s background is in both science and music, holding a Master's Degree in Data Science, a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a long history of playing and performing on the double bass. His passion for philosophy, music, good food and community attracted him to the bhakti lifestyle. Having studied and practiced the science of the ‘self’ for six years now, he thrives on drawing insights from contemporary science and combining it with yoga wisdom to encourage others to explore new perspectives.
