The soft rustle of palm trees in the breeze. The warm sand beneath your feet. The setting sun’s golden light melting into shades of purple over the ocean at dusk. 🌴🌴 Whether it’s the beaches of Kenting and Hualien in Taiwan or on islands and coasts around the world, tropical places offer more than just lush scenery. These communities and places embody a sense of family, of gathering, of connection, bathed by the sun and enriched by the sea. 🌞
It is in that spirit we present “Tropical Nights, Community Lights” — the theme of our 2025 Annual Fundraising Gala & Auction. The Community Services Center is proud to invite leaders, champions, partners, and friends like you to gather, feast, and fundraise for our important mission: supporting Taiwan’s international community through mental health counseling, activities, and resources.
Come meet up for faces familiar and new and catch up over fine conversation. Wear your favorite island-themed shirt or dress. Get in the vibe over tropical drinks and a night of dining, laughter, and purpose! Plus, we have some exciting entertainment lined up—expect a few surprises that we’ll be revealing soon…

As a not-for-profit organization in Taiwan, the Center depends on the generous support of donors and community partners to help sustain and expand its programs and services each year. For decades, the yearly fundraiser event has provided this critical support, thanks to the generosity of local champions, leaders, and corporate partners. This important philanthropic gathering helps the Center harness essential resources to care for Taiwan’s international and third-culture communities — and culminates as a celebration of the Center’s ongoing years of dedicated service.
