The Commons just turned 7 in June, and we’re ready to celebrate now that the weather is finally cooling down! Join us Saturday, September 20th, starting at 6 PM, for a night of celebrating one of Chico’s favorite spots.What began in June 2018 as Chico’s first and only self-pour taproom, with 28 rotating beer and wine taps, has grown into so much more. In 2021, we expanded with our artisan pizzeria, adding handcrafted pizzas to the lineup. By December 2022, we raised the bar once again with a full liquor license and craft cocktails. By the end of 2023, we completed our outdoor stage and expansion area, creating even more space for live music and community connection. We’ve hosted some heavy hitters such as the Long Beach Dub Allstars, LaRussell, Nate Smith, and more.
Now, seven years later, we’re marking the journey with a free, all-ages anniversary party filled with nothing but good music, good food, and all of our friends and fam. The celebration kicks off at 6 PM with Stay Positive Sound and DJ cootdog, followed by Dylan’s Dharma from 7–8 PM. At 8:30 PM, Mystic Roots headlines with a full set until 10 PM, and the night closes out with more from Stay Positive Sound and DJ cootdog, spinning from 10 PM to midnight.
