Welcome everyone!It's been a while but Guf's interstore rivalry event is back! ❤
The format will be MTG standard, top cut 4/8 depending on turn out, this will be a competitive REL event, there will be a judge on hand and deck lists will be required ?
1 event will run at each store each month:
Ballarat - 11th of May
Bendigo - 23rd of June
Geelong - 13th of July
Werribee - 10th of August
Before each event starts each player will elect which store they want to represent, points will be awarded to only the top 4 placing players for each store to be tallied up at the last event which will be at Werribee. (An example is provided below)
Individual players that have a top 16 placing in each event (the top 4 players representing each store) will have their scores tracked over the 4 events as this will go towards their individual score, the individual player that scores highest over the 4 events (season) will receive a NEON DYNASTY COLLECTOR BOOSTER BOX! Also there will be an eternal trophy made up for these events that will have a slot for best player overall and best store which will be held at the winning store until the next season ?
Prizing for the individual events will be quite top heavy focusing on the top 8 the booster amount will depend on player count. 1st place will also receive a Guf playmat and a higher end promo, everyone will walk away with at least 1 play/set booster, a promo and a Guf die.
Start time: Doors/registration opens at 10:00am, round 1 starts at 10:45am, please have your decklist ready prior to the event, it can be sent in ahead of time to [email protected]
Entry: $25 per an event
Example top 16 players store points distribution (4 for each store):
1st Geelong - 16 points
2nd Werribee - 15 points
3rd Ballarat -14 points
4th Bendigo - 13 points
5th Bendigo - 12 points
6ht Geelong - 11 points
7th Bendigo - 10 points
8th Werribee - 9 points
9th Werribee - 8 points
10th Geelong - 7 points
11th Ballarat - 6 points
12th Ballarat - 5 points
13th Ballarat - 4 points
14th Werribee - 3 points
15th Geelong - 2 points
16th Bendigo - 1 point (this person might of finished 32nd in the event but they are the 4th highest placing Bendigo player for example)
This example event would yield:
Ballarat - 29 points
Bendigo - 36 points
Geelong - 36 points
Werribee - 35 points
In the event of a tie we will use the highest amount of placings over the 4 events for stores and individual players.
