Named a top 10 emerging artist by Tractor Supply and Lainey Wilson, April Cushman has been touring the country and Europe with some of the biggest songwriters in country music. April is a small-town songwriter from Swanzey, NH, where she lives on her farm with her husband and daughter. She has sold out shows in Iceland and Denmark and has toured overseas with Nashville Nights, an international songwriter festival that brings hit writers around the world to tour. April has sold out The Colonial Showroom as well as other venues around New England, headlining her original concerts.
With a sound and storytelling that blends with Lori McKenna and Ashley McBryde, April tends to hit the heartstrings of her listeners no matter where she performs. Her first single, “In A Small Town,” was based on Swanzey, Monadnock Husky Pride, and a well-known local family diner, Jeanne’s.
April has supported artists like Rodney Atkins, Joe Nichols, Scotty McCreery (at The Colonial), Darius Rucker, and more, while touring with some of Darius’ band for private events in the Carolinas and beyond. She has been writing songs for her next album, set for a 2025 release with Grammy, ACM, and CMA-winning and nominated writers like Rob Snyder, Kylie Sackley, Blue Foley, Patrick Savage, and more.
Million-selling country music star, Michael Peterson, burst onto the country music scene in 1997 with unforgettable Billboard hits like the iconic “Drink, Swear, Steal & Lie” and “From Here to Eternity,” becoming Billboard magazine’s top-selling new male artist and top new airplay artist two years in a row.
Michael’s songs have been played nearly 27 million times and have reached #1 fifteen times on music charts around the world. A CMA and Academy of Country Music finalist for Best New Artist, Michael’s “Drink, Swear, Steal & Lie” was recently recognized as one of the top 50 Essential Hits of the 90’s while Michael’s timeless “From Here to Eternity” has been ranked as the 4th most popular country music wedding song of all time.
