About this Event
The Collective and Buffalo Prescott present a series of crochet workshops + talks around popular engagement through craft. On four Wednesdays, starting November 19 through December 10, we will host crochet instruction followed by discussions on how to use these learned skills to serve our communities through craftivism.
The first hour of each workshop will be set aside with a limited number of beginner spots for those interested in learning to crochet. We will provide all of the materials for these beginners to learn to crochet over the course of four weeks.
That said, all are welcome to come and share knowledge or just hang out and crochet.
The second hour is meant for discussions about the impact and possibilities of crafting for direct or indirect community betterment. All are welcome and encouraged to participate in the conversation and activities.
