Come as you are, cocoon and unfold—this is movement as pure possibility. Sophie Barbarics’ classes invite you into a world where movement is honest, playful, and deeply human.
Each Cocoon Lab session holds space for vulnerability, wild imagination, and connective joy—woven together in Sophie’s signature style, equal parts gentle and daring.
Weekly Labs Feature
- inventive choreography, playful prompts, and guided improvisation — encouraging participants to cocoon, unfold, and surprise themselves in motion.
- Every class nourishes trust, experimentation, and community, inviting all bodies to explore new ways of moving and connecting.
- The Lab welcomes dancers of all backgrounds; you’ll co-create sequences, respond to music and imagery, and practice ensemble movement in a supportive atmosphere.
Cocoon lab will kick of with 2 groups in Nelson:
Tuesday group: 9:30-10:30 am
Thursday group: 6-7 pm
Each group welcomes maximum 15 participants - Be sure to reserve your spot in the Circle
We want The Cocoon Lab to be a place where everyone can move, play, and create—whatever your financial circumstance. Come as you are; we’ll find a way to welcome you in.
