This is a pay-what-you-can event for the musicians, but you won’t want to pass up your chance to buy a delicious, reasonably priced coffee and muffin!The Co-Conspirators perform folk/singer-songwriter music with elements of bluegrass, country, blues, gospel, and general roots music. With heavy emphasis on vocal harmonies, this duo has been compared to The Weavers, Ian and Sylvia Tyson and Richard and Linda Thompson. They perform a perfect mix of originals, traditional folk, and old-time-favourite covers. Canadian folk music legend Valdy said they sound like they have been singing together their whole lives.
Described as modern day troubadours, The Co-Conspirators have spent the last 6 years performing at hundreds of house concerts, folk societies, festivals, seniors and community centres, bars, and restaurants across Canada, and have just returned from a successful 17 date tour of the US.
The Co-Conspirators have released 4 albums to date, "Shadowing the Organ Tuner", "The Unreliable Narrators”, "Half a Tank of Gas and a Full Case of Beer", a Fred Eaglesmith tribute released in July 2023, and in January of 2025, "War is a Racket and Other Irrefutable Truths”.
