Greetings everyone, In midst of these troubling times we hope you remain in good spirits, stay home and practice “Social Distancing” as much as possible. First and foremost the health and safety of each and everyone of us is our main concern. As the organizers of the upcoming May 24th Clubhouse Reunion (45th Year Anniversary), we would like to take this time to provide an update regarding the event. We have been following the CDC reports and guidelines very closely. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to postpone the May 24th Clubhouse Reunion event to a later date (To Be Determined).
If you purchased ticket(s) for May 24, 2020, you may either hold on to your ticket for the new date to be announced or request a refund minus fees from our ticketing partner Eventbrite, due to Covid-19. We will be in touch over the coming months with more concrete details about this event as things progress relating to the Pandemic. In the meantime, we hope and pray that you and your loved ones are taking good care of yourselves, each other, following public health directives and advice. if everyone does their part, together we will get through this and Dance Again!!! This year we are celebrating the CLUBHOUSE REUNION 45TH ANNIVERSARY PARTY."
The Clubhouse opened on Saturday, May 10, 1975 in a large warehouse located at 1296 Upshur Street, NW with 300 members and at its peak its membership soared up to 4000 members. From anniversary to anniversary, the Clubhouse grew to became one of the best entertainment, dance and social clubs in the world. Famous for its house music and world class entertainers, the Clubhouse successfully survived for 15 successful years.
So, now we are celebrating 45 years of The Clubhouse since its opening. This will be a once in a lifetime spectacular event not to be missed.
Featuring: Billboard Award Winning DJ Tito Robinson, DJ Mandrill Harris, DJ Sam “The Man“ Burns and DJ Jay Jay on the wheels of steel (vinyl sets only) spinning all of the hits from the CLUBHOUSE era from 1975 to 1990.
