Alan McGee, founder of Creation Records and discoverer of the likes of My Bloody Valentine, Primal Scream and Oasis, recognised a lot of talent in The Clockworks during a rehearsal and signed the band immediately, without hesitation. The Irish four-piece themselves describe their music as a "punk rock version of The Streets", but they also accept good raw post-punk! They have already performed to great success in AB during Fifty Lab, but are now doing it all by themselves to come and present their debut album to us.
