Presenting companies:
Built environment and the circular economy:

CarbonEye - Developing a solution that leverages computer vision to capture, analyse and predict data of CO2 emissions produced in construction projects by tracking the materials and waste involved.

Cyanoskin - A modular interlocking skin layer for buildings that would promote carbon sequestration, through a living medium (e.g. algae, plant, fungi). This could enable personalisation, be self-healing, self-sufficient and easy to use. With the objective to decarbonise the city of its emissions and provide energy and/or insulation to a system.

Candela - DIY kits that not only educate students on crucial global challenges: (renewable-energy, waste-management, water-management), but also build tools, useful in their day-to-day lives, that address real-life sustainability concerns.

EcoElevate - The HDCR enzyme from Aceobacterium woodi has the potential to serve as an alternative carbon-capture method to rare earth metal catalysts. The product formic acid is highly utilised in industry.

GreenifyNow - A rating system that rates sustainability score of individual products using a custom metric. Ultimate goal is to help customers make more environmentally conscious decisions by increasing transparency in various sectors.

Olet Bio - Fertilizer has tripled in price since 2021. We take agricultural biowaste and use anaerobic digestion and biocharring to generate organic fertilizer and biogas at a fraction of the cost.

Energy and food:

Synergy - We provide efficient wind turbines to generate renewable energy from the turbulent airflow of passing transport, building net-zero transport systems.

TerraTherm - Developing new advanced geothermal energy systems based on closed loops, binary systems, and new technologies to develop carbon-neutral, affordable, constant, and less mineral-intensive baseload electricity to replace fossil fuels.

Volta - Helping the general public to invest in renewable energies, by allowing people to buy fractional parts of renewable power plants just by a click in the app/web.

ConsciousEats - Want to grab a meal with friends and know that your meal is environmentally friendly? ConsciousEats gives you options to find restaurants that are adopting sustainable practices.

Food Centred - A platform to facilitate the reduction of food thrown away at the end of the day by university food providers by encouraging discounted pricing – creating value for providers and students.

Land, Agriculture and Oceans:

Algaín - While demand for seaweed is exploding, farmers suffer from a lack of data and critical stabilization and processing hurdles. Our underwater precision seaweed farming technology helps farmers scale supply.

Biofonic - We have developed an eco-acoustic sensor for monitoring soil health that enables the non-destructive quantification of biodiversity and other key metrics critical to sustainable agricultural land management.

Farming 3.0 - Climate change rapidly alters suitability of land for crop growth. Data-driven solutions can aid decision-making on how farmers can adapt their land under the changing climate.

GreenFields Energy - Empowering landowners to save money and lower their carbon footprint through data analysis and strategic advisory.

InX Tech - We are pioneering the next generation of high-endurance, zero-emissions autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) by combining the low-power, long-range capability of underwater gliding technology with the high-powered capacity of hydrogen-Fuel-Cells for better ocean data-collection.
