When is it? - October 26th 2024! Thats basically Halloween so you may as well come dressed in your best Emo Prom attire. Black eyeliner and fingernails are encouraged
What is it? - This is a fundraising event for endometriosis! There will be a door fee but don't worry, 1/2 of the funds made at the door will go right to The Endometriosis Foundation of America! We will also have a small silent auction, a live painting by Cody Kvintus as well as a special drink menu made up by the beautiful bar staff of Fenders where a percentage of those drinks will also go right to The Endometriosis Foundation of America. There will also be QR codes scattered around the building for those who would like to donate right to The Endometriosis Foundation of America
Why are we doing this? - Endometriosis is a painful condition that effects 1 in 10 of those of us with a uterus. We will provide brochures and educational content for those who wish to learn more about the condition, have the condition, and those looking for answers.
"I wanted to hold a fundraiser for endometriosis because it's something that is near and dear to my heart. it's something I struggle with daily, pain that can stop me in my tracks and bring me to my knees. it's this invisible disease, it grows under your healthy tissue, it gaslights you, it can rule your life. It took me 13 years to get a solid diagnosis, and that diagnosis came with the cost of an expletory surgery that came with weeks of recovery. But it also came with answers. there is no cure for this chronic condition, only life modifications, more surgery and some hormonal therapies to try and slow the growth. I have endometriosis, so did both of my grandmothers resulting in full hysterectomies for the both of them. I stand with those fighting for answers. I am 1 in 10" - Cassi Earley, Stage 5 Clinger
