Founded in 1970 in Yarmouth port, it was “like walking into a closet full of surprise treasures.” One never knew what he might find, but the public, always on the hunt for bargains, began to find goods that not only pleased but stretched one’s budget. The word-of-mouth advertising attracted customers to Cape Cod, who returned time and again, never sure what they might find. This was what made the shop popular and created a sensation on Cape Cod.
